This oil painting called 'Morning Catch' is a pretty depiction of fishermen returning from the seas with their prize at sunrise.

As with most of my paintings, I wanted to include a lot of light and with this, a dawn of a glorious day.

I wouldn't say it is a realistic painting, especially with the circular patterned waves and I hadn't set out to make it so. What I wanted was, a bright and sunny scene with some sea and space.
